Stooping to a fools level to argue makes you one as well. There is no winning an argument with them because they are too narrow minded and can only see situations through their own point of view. The only thing left to do is to retain your own sanity by not baiting and not giving them the satisfaction that they have your attention.
Allow me to be frank for once and end this foolish coy game we play. Permit me to say that I miss you. I miss everything about you, even the highfalutin way you spoke about your taste in everything, especially in women. We have spoken yes, but it has been three years since we have spoken without shallow words. I do not regret revealing my true feelings towards you and I do not blame you for not returning them.
I would be foolish however, to deny that part of me is not remorseful over your loss. Not your physical presence so much as your inner presence. When two people have bared their souls to each other, it is impossible to retract to how they once were. How could I have been expected to turn a blind eye to the heart I now knew existed, that was beating persistently against the cages to which it was confined, within your cold exterior. How could someone like you believe in love after everything that occurred? How could you still believe in her?
I took you on as a project, you were my very own puzzle to be put back together. However, I was gravely mistaken in thinking that the way that I repaired you would leave you healed and ready to enjoy happiness with me. The picture on your puzzle would not be completed without her. Each time I heard you mention your longing for her, I sucked it in and swallowed your poison, leaving you to enjoy a few moments of peace. In the end, poison consumed me, my picture which was incomplete without you incinerated, it was gone from whence it was born, into nothingness.
Years have passed and our friendship tethered, unable to be reborn from its ashes. Occasionally, I catch my mind roaming on you. Associated with it is a feeling of nausea and internal sickness which I am unsure that I will ever overcome.
When all is said and done, I would just like you to know that I love you, because you are the type of person who deserves to be loved.
I feel as though I am being spun, I’m being pulled in a million different directions, their effects cancel the other and I am left twirling haphazardly on the same spot, which it seems I will never leave. I will suffer the sickness associated with the motions, until the day that one of the forces give way and I am bound to a destination. I wonder then if movement on the same spot can be considered movement at all.
An astounding insight into the life and deterioration of the motor neurons of Stephen Hawking. Eddie Redmayne has outdone himself in his portrayal, it was so raw and believable. In an interview with Ellen he said he trained for his roll by taking dance classes in order to learn how to contract and control different muscles and we can see that he has been successful in his endeavors.
The movie itself was motivational, made you really appreciate the fact that if you blessed with good health then you should be grateful, and it makes you question yourself; if he could accomplish so much in his state then who are you to not have accomplished your own dreams. Defying the odds is something that we should try to accomplish everyday since time is so limited and isn’t guaranteed. It also touches on the themes of love, and how unwavering, unconditional and nondiscriminatory it can be. And how the simple act of loving and being loved can change an entire outlook on a futile situation.
Summary: Motivational and brilliant acting. Good time passer
Set back in time to the period of the discovery of the ring and the beginning of the return of Sauron, the hobbit takes us back on an adventure in Middle Earth. Luckily, those of you who haven’t seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy aren’t at a disadvantage since the story is not dependent on the first set of movies but rather it complements it instead.
This journey is more light than the first movies, with an exceptional actor in the form of Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins in the youth. It shows the first deviation from the norm as Bilbo becomes the first Hobbit to embark on an adventure. Over the span of the trilogy, he is persuaded by Gandalf to become the Burglar for a dozen dwaves on their quest to reclaim their home which has been taken hostage by the dragon, Smaug.
Stunning cinematography once again by Andrew Lesnie and wonderful vision and directing by Peter Jackson. I LOVE looking at these movies just to see how beautiful they make the scenery look, especially at Rivendell. The dragon was also beautifully created, especially when he was breathing fire, absolutely remarkable. I’m not a huge action film fan, but this trilogy balances it wonderfully by intertwining many different themes into it. There is something for everyone within this saga.
The only problem I have with these movies are the fact that they are so stretched out and long. However, this can be rebutted with the fact that the plot is developed adequately with all this extra time.
Summary: Adventure and action packed, hard to start and commit the hours to watch however, it’s even harder to stop watching it.
